These were taken from inside the Arch. The pods (as I like to call them) are these small elevators that 5 people get in and go up 630ft in the air.

ST. LOUIS TRIP - AUG. 22-24, 2008





Well, this past weekend we went to St. Louis for the Cardinals vs Braves game. Last year we went to Atlanta for the game and this year I told Ross we were going to my home field. Well, it didn't do much good. The Braves won on Saturday (the game we went to), but the Cardinals won on Friday and Sunday. My brother Buddy and sister-in-law, Sonja met us in St. Louis. We had a great time and then on Sunday we went up in the Arch. That is all the traveling Ross and I are going to do for a while. We are pooped! Anyway, I miss you guys and will write again soon!

TRIP TO CHICAGO - AUG. 16, 2008

For Ross' birthday, I surprised him with a trip to Chicago. And when I say surprise, I did not tell him where we were going until we were in the car on the way to the airport. He was pleasantly surprised to say the least. We had a great time and are ready to go back. He says he is going to top this on my birthday and all I can say is "Bring it On!!"

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROSS! AUG. 12, 2008





It's my baby's birthday!! We had a really great time. We went to Big Bang which is a dueling piano bar with friends and had a blast. Then on his actual birthday I baked him a cake (from scratch) and we went out for dinner. It was really nice, but I have a few more surprises up my sleeve for him!!!
